My Story

Hi, I’m Max, the founder and craftsman behind Grain Flow Woodworking.

Born and raised in New England, I’ve always been drawn to how things are built. In late 2024, I started restoring furniture between jobs. What began as small projects quickly became something more. I fell in love with the process — the patience, the detail, and the transformation.

That’s how Grain Flow Woodworking began.

I build and restore pieces that are meant to last. My goal is simple: create work that feels solid, meaningful, and built with intention. Whether it’s bringing an old piece back to life or crafting something new from raw lumber, I focus on quality, character, and clean design.

I’m self-taught and always refining my craft. Every project is a chance to get better and build something worth keeping.

Thanks for being here.

Let’s get some grain flowing.
